Travel is one of life’s great enjoyments. Perhaps I should add “usually.” Occasionally, we have to go when we don’t want to. Or, where we don’t want to go! Moreover, well-made plans can suddenly go awry? By the way, I think we have all been there and done that! Moreover, there are some trips that none of us want to make. It seems that the only trips I recall as a child were usually for funerals! Or we can be distracted by the worries involved! We are trying to make things easier and less expensive for you! Incidentally, we were farmers and farmers don’t generally get away much. Crops and animals always needed our attention. By the way, I do recall taking the New York Central train to visit my grandma in Paxton, Illinois. The trains were my favorite means of travel as a kid. Consequently, I thought that becoming a conductor would be the most wonderful thing on the planet! (I think it was the uniform, especially those adorable little caps!) Things have changed quite a bit since then. In addition, even those unwanted trips need to be as convenient as possible. No one wants glitches when you have to get from point A to point B! By the way, I also made the trip to see my Grandma in the backend of a 1947 Studebaker pickup. I had a mattress and everything! Now, that’s adventure! All three-hundred miles!
