Cat Furniture for Royalty! You know who I’m talking about! Any cat who lives with you is either “Her Majesty or His Majesty.” Those of us who share our lives with cats know we are blessed. We understand their majesty, even when they behave like total dingbats! You’ve no doubt seen those pictures that say, “Cats were worshipped as gods back in Egypt and they haven’t forgotten!” Incidentally, neither have the folks who have produced these adorable cat-trees! Obviously, they understand the concept of royalty! SEE FOR YOURSELF
Cat Furniture for Royalty-First of all, WHY?
First of all, cats need to scratch to maintain their health. Moreover, the act of scratching is good; also, keeping their nails clean and conditioned. Not to mention, scratching/stretching is great exercise. Just like us, their nails grow. Incidentally, the sheaths need to come off periodically or the points can grow right into the soft tissues and cause pain and infection. This is something to watch for as your cat gets older. Several breeds are more prone to ingrown toenails. (Siamese) A scratching post helps maintain healthy nails.
However, watch out for any sign of limping and learn how to safely trim your cats toenail from your vet. Outside cats use trees. Therefore, if we don’t provide something for our cats, they will begin scratching furniture or even walls. By the way, cats often have a preference for either an horizontal or vertical surface. You can figure it out by careful observation. These cat trees offer some of each type of surface. Pretend you are a cat and think about how your feet feel; you’ll understand all of this!
Another Reason
Incidentally, many cat trees are quite tall; those generally have cozy perches to enjoy. Most cats love to be upon high surfaces. You’ll see them up on top of cupboards, etc. That’s why cats sometimes get in trouble; trying to get to a high location! Therefore, it’s important to provide that safe opportunity, as well for the royalty in your home. If your cat is older, you might not want him climbing up too high. One of my cats, Pickles, is an amputee; his left front leg has been removed at the shoulder. However, he was still a kitten at the time of surgery, so he adjusted quickly and it has never been an issue. I’ve watched him easily get to the top of our tree. You know your cat better than anyone; find the tree he will absolutely love. RIGHT HERE
This Cat Furniture for Royalty Meets all Their Needs
These adorable trees come in various sizes so you can pick one that goes with the size of your cat and home. If you don’t have many places for your cat to nap, a tree with those cute beds would be wonderful. No cat will turn up his nose at a cozy nest! By the way, if you can place your tree near a window with an interesting view, even better!
By the way, you can pick one of the smaller trees for your bedroom. Incidentally, some of those those cactus trees are perfect for scratching posts around your home. However, keep them easily accessible for your cats. Moreover, I’m here to tell you that cats appreciate everything we do for them. They show gratitude by using it frequently.

There’s one other topic I should address: Declawing; it’s not what you think! It’s an amputation of every toe up to the first joint. It’s the primary reason cats end up at shelters! They are in so much pain, they don’t use the litter box any more! Some are crippled for the rest of their lives. They cannot walk normally; think of your feet without toes! Moreover, occasionally, cats who can no longer defend themselves with their claws, will take to biting! The procedure is becoming outlawed in many countries and states. DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! Here is the link to information on how to deal with destructive scratching. Hopefully, you will never need it but it’s worth reading regardless. It’s from Cornell Feline Health Center, one of the top cat research institutes in the world.
